In the mid 1950s, Verner Panton established his own design studio and began designing whole interior spaces, from textiles to lighting, incorporating his distinctive graphic aesthetic. Unisol is a striking pattern created by rows of black ellipses on a white ground. The ellipses are compressed in width at rhythmic intervals, creating an optical effect.
