Smile Miles didn't happen overnight. Smile Miles came from a place of hard work, ups and downs, and an amazing community. Hi. My name is Logan and I am a nurse by day and a mom/ grad student/ first-time Boston Marathoner by night! Training for the Boston Marathon on Team Tufts Medical Center is for me, but the fundraising is for thousands of our patients and the community of Tufts Medicine. I am one of those patients. I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer during my marathon training and decided my miles were going to be filled with smiles; not sadness, frustration, anger, and anything else that comes with bad news. This bracelet is here to remind us all that we have the power to change the world through ourselves, our family and friends, and our community, one Smile Mile at a time!
