Benjamin Giguere's bright red bird, with cremated remains melded into the glass, symbolizes the comfort of an enduring connection to your lost loved one. You send a teaspoon of your lost loved one's ashes to his studio in the provided kit. A glassblower heats glass in the furnace to a molten state, removes it to add a thin layer of the ashes, returns it to the furnace, and then sculpts it. The kit also includes an optional questionnaire for sharing details about your loved one, allowing Benjamin to honor their memory and keep their spirit in mind while he crafts each special piece. The memorial comes with a light-up base that beautifully illuminates the swirl of ashes within the glowing red bird.
