Collet-set jewelry, the setting of choice in the 18th century, was primarily used for faceted stones. As she is known to do, Emily wanted to rethink the past by designing an open-back collet setting that could support beautiful cabochon tourmalines. The color references for this collection come from an herb garden, and here, the yellow tourmalines and diamonds recall the hue of fresh chamomile flowers.
