This collarless jacket is characterized by its striking, three-dimensional silhouette with partial folds reminiscent of boxes and origami. By reducing the density of the warp threads to decrease the weight, the fabric was made lighter and thinner while retaining its stretchiness. Rayon/silk threads were also alternately woven with Japanese Washi paper to create the supple, flowy feel. Despite its impressive silhouette, the jacket is very light and moderately hugs the body.
