Short and fitted bolero made from cruelty free tussah silk knit. Tussah silk, or shantung, is a type of wild silk, produced by silkworms of the same name that feed on oak and juniper leaves. Because they cannot be raised on farms, and their harvesting, warping, and dyeing is more complicated, this type of silk becomes an exclusive and cruelty-free fabric. The selection of yarns used in our knitwear is carried out meticulously, looking for natural fibers of the highest quality to then make them in small specialized workshops in the Italian region of Reggio Emilia, which maintain an artisan approach.
