This will give you a more tailored, but still comfortable fit. To maintain this look, wash in cold water and Air Dry or Dry Clean. For a fitted look (cropped): If you want the pants to fit more closely and have a more cropped appearance, go with your regular size . After washing and drying the pants normally, they'll shrink (especially in the inseam), resulting in a more fitted look. Keep in mind the inseam shrinkage: After washing, the inseam of the Size Large, for instance, will shrink from 30" to approximately 27". If you prefer a longer fit, you might want to consider sizing up.
