For him, at that level of output, it could get too hot wearing the full hooded kit. After back and forth and some R&D, here's where we landed: a sleeveless vest with an added back pocket for gels or sunscreen, seams above the shoulder instead of underarm to avoid rub during long paddles, and a limited-edition camo colorway. Jack Bark wore it and not only won the Catalina Classic, but also broke the longstanding 5 hour record. Lachie Lansdown secured the win in stock wearing it, with Toa Pere securing 2nd in stock also equipped with the vest.
