Dapple is a velvety soft blend of 20.7-micron, Colorado Merino wool & Texas-grown organic cotton. The yarn is woolen spun for a lofty hand & rustic appearance. However, the most striking aspect of this yarn is the dyeing process. Dapple is tonal-dyed, which means that each skein within a dye lot has variations of color & texture for a "dappled", tonal color effect. Mix subtle shades within the colorway to create fades, ombres & depth of color in the knit fabrics you create.
