This piece has a deep scarlet and black textured glaze. In 1949 Josef Emons and Jean Fuss parted and the Fuss and Emons factory was split in two. J Emons Söhne formed ES Keramik and Jean Fuss launched Majolikafabrik Rheinbach which was abbreviated to Marei Keramik and based in Rheinbach in Germany. It ceased production in 2016. High quality German production with beautiful abstract glaze structure. Simple and modernist design of the 1970's design era. This vase is super rare and very collectible.
