The new rollerball pen part of Montblanc's Great Characters line pays tribute to Enzo Ferrari, the charismatic man behind the Ferrari legend. This edition is offered in an iconic hue inspired by the colour of the coat of arms of Ferrari's hometown as well as the Ferrari Shield's background tone: Giallo Modena. It therefore becomes an exploration of the brand aesthetics' "second soul", a hue introduced after the Rosso 70 anni colour already celebrated in the first edition dedicated to Enzo Ferrari and launched in 2021. Several details add unique personality to this collector's items created for enthusiasts. The body in refined yellow resin is accompanied by the cap and cone section in metal with matt- and glossy-effect ruthenium finish; engraved sentences stand out, such as the quote "You cannot describe passion, you can only live it" and " Le porterà fortuna " ("It will bring you luck"), the words uttered by countess Paolina di Biancoli – mother of Italian aviator Francesco Baracca – when she suggested adopting the Horse as the Scuderia's logo. Ferrari's birthdate – different from that recorded on the documents belatedly completed due to a memorable snowfall in Modena – and the name of his father's workshop, where little Enzo discovered his passion, are further references to his everlasting legend. The pen is completed with the Prancing Horse and the Montblanc emblem.
