The Visionary Practice with Courtney Deri & Moun D'Simone A workshop to awaken the truth: you are the one. The one who holds the power to turn your dreams into reality. Through yoga, meditation, transformative teachings, and community, you will engage in dynamic and inspiring practices that help you embody a profound and unwavering sense of self-worth. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a journal. BIOS Born and raised in Southern California, Courtney has been practicing yoga and meditation since the age of 16. She has been teaching since 2015 and continues to grow more passionate about helping you connect to your joy and power through these special practices...by any means necessary. She has found herself in various types of physical movement and spiritual practices from a young age, and spent the majority of her life pursuing her passion for classical ballet. After dancing professionally in a variety of companies across the United States, Courtney completed her Iyengar influenced RYS 200 hour certification at Back Bay Yoga Boston in May 2014 under Lynne Begier, Ryan Cunningham, and Caitlyn Graham Visconte. Since then she has completed an additional 500+ hours of yoga, meditation, movement, and trauma informed training in NYC. Most recently Courtney's heart has been set on fire by the teachings that are found in the Tibetan Buddhist Gelugpa lineage and integrates these ancient practices into movement styles to help you unlock and realize your limitless potential. You can expect a music driven, heart opening, powerfully fun movement experience. Courtney is forever grateful for her teachers along the way. Moun is a spiritual teacher, coach, meditation guide, and artist, originally from Brazil. She combines Tibetan Buddhism, modern psychology, and somatic techniques to help people cultivate trust and be their true selves. Her focus is on the power of inquiry and community to understand one's inner world and uncover their innate potential. She is equal parts powerful and vulnerable. She will make you laugh and hold you as you feel whatever is needed — she is a healer, a teacher, and most of all a mirror for the highest version of you. Her approach is playful, relatable, and irreverent. To those she touches, she becomes more than a mentor – she's a spiritual big sister. For the past decade, since discovering the Dharma, Moun has dedicated herself to practice and study, spending extended time in retreats in India and Nepal, and integrating her learnings into daily life. Over the last seven years, she has shared her unique methods through 1:1 coaching, international retreats, and both online and in-person group programs. A firm believer in the power of community, daily practice, and our capacity to move through anything, she paves the way for a life of authentic love and meaningful connections.
