Limited Edition of only 300 pieces Sir Robert Peel (1788-1850) is perhaps best known as being the father of the Metropolitan Police Force. The commonly used terms for policemen - 'Bobbies' stems from his name. With the Metropolitan Police Act of 1829, Peel had laid the foundation of a modern police professional police force.
