RÆBURN has undertaken a meticulous deconstruction process of race-worn Formula 1 Nomex® suits from Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, and their mechanics, as well as Peeler suits worn by civil responders and police. Each garment has been carefully disassembled and reimagined to create this unique style, the Mercedes-AMG F1 x PUMA x RÆBURN Masterpiece Desert Cap. This cap is crafted from a combination of race-worn suits and Peeler suits, offering both durability and a unique design. The detachable face cover, made from the drivers' jersey base layers, provides versatility and additional protection. The face mask, also fashioned from these base layers, ensures comfort and functionality. A bungee drawcord allows for size adjustment of the cap and helps draw in the neck cover tighter for a secure fit. Internally, a story label highlights the exclusivity of this piece, detailing its limited production of only 5 units and offering insight into the materials and the collaboration behind this collection. RÆMADE items have been created by taking existing surplus materials, products and artefacts and reworking them into completely new products. As a result of this upcycling process, no two RÆMADE products are identical and may include some inherent faults and/or characteristics of the original materials, products and artefacts used to make them.
