Its thick heel area provides excellent cushioning upon ground impact, followed by a responsive energy return. The midsole has a special shore 60C compound and it is shaped to deliver comfort and support in the three phases of the runner's gait: providing cushioning at contact, a secure and controlled rolling at mid-stance and energy return at toe-off. Flex grooves in the outsole move naturally with the foot, delivering a regular weight transfer at every step. In particular, the inner groove improves control and disperses negative impact forces. The tread provides durability and traction thanks to an anti-abrasion rubber, which is positioned in the areas most subject to wear.
