Decorative panel made from a little 'pie-crust' table, saved from landfill, now art for the wall! Painted in thick layers of paint in off white, palest pink and palest blue-grey. I have decorated this using an image from a Victorian illustration, sourced and printed in fade-resistant ink, by myself. The text reads 'what a beautiful day' in the heather purple of the undercoat. Distressed all over, in some areas back to wood. I aim to create the feel of a genuinely aged, bohemian piece. Finally, varnished. I have added a wire hanger to the back so that this is ready to be hung on the wall. Dimensions: 60cm in diameter 2cm thick at the 'pie-crust' edge
