Lovo means wolf in archaic Venetian dialect. The Vibram XS-grip outsole is a climbing rubber slab, based on one of the leading performative (mostly adherence and durability) technology from Vibram. The main material we chose for the upper is actually a leather, but treated like rubber to ape the texture of the XS-grip climbing rubber, which was used for the outsole. The mid-sole is a sculptural mass shaped to enhance the characteristic of a climbing shoe. With the claw-like frontal ending, that continues the lacing system's curvature. The product is manufactured with ANTI-ABRASION materials obtained by means of a surface coating carried out on the leather to improve its protection. Asymmetrical lacing up to the toe allows for a personalized fit. Wrap-around tongue that simplifies lacing and adapts to the morphology of the foot. Although the shoe has a strong silhouette, the tone-on-tone layerings render it quite compact and stealthy.
