Delivering the unexpected through a seemingly simple gesture, fferrone elevates the everyday with entirely handcrafted furniture, objects & tableware. Inspired by a trip to the healing hot springs of an onsen in Bessho, Japan, the Bessho Collection is an exploration by Ferrone that challenges handcraft techniques by creating a ribbon of smooth glass around the rim, establishing a visual and physical transition between the fluted and smooth glass, and the mouth.
