Pierre Culot (1938-2011) was a ceramist, potter, and sculptor. He attended the École des métiers d'art Abbaye de Maredsous and perfected his craft alongside the greatest ceramists of the post-war period (including Bernard Leach, Antoine de Vinck, and Shoji Hamada). Sculpture began to take precedence in his work beginning in the 1970s.
