She was influenced very early on in life by an amazing set of grandparents who were very artistic, creative, and had such wonderful imaginations. She honed her craft studying art in college and then moved to the hills of Mississippi, an area with amazing sunsets and such inspirational surroundings. She has worked as a designer in the finishing trade for 21 years, and has been very fortunate to travel and teach finishes and designs abroad. So much of her art is a combination of all that she has been exposed to over the years of traveling, and being able to work with art all over the world. When asked where she draws her inspiration from, she said she loves to create art "That just makes you feel good!"
