This knit cardigan features a Steam Stretch* pattern structure expressed through weft knitting. The three-dimensional knitting structure expresses the pattern while also providing a stretchy, comfortable feel. *The "Steam Stretch" technique shrinks cloth by applying hot steam in order to create unique stretch materials. Special threads shrunken with heat are woven with other threads, and then only the special thread parts shrink when the steam is applied. By only shrinking the intended parts of the piece of woven cloth, three-dimensional patterns and shapes are created and the garment is completed.
