Stiff and rigid to begin, they break in over time, and shrink down in waist and length when you wash them. HOW TO BUY SHRINK-TO-FIT JEANS If your waist is: 27" to 36", then add 1" If your waist is 38" to 46", then add 2" If your length is 26" to 34", then add 3" If your length is 36" or up, then add 4" EXAMPLE: If your normal jeans size is 33" waist x 29" length then buy 34x32. If you plan on dry cleaning your jeans, then buy the size that you would normally wear, and please make sure that the process will not get the jeans wet or they will shrink!
