DESCRIPTION Kerchief-style scarf made from upcycled vintage material. The uniqueness of the vintage material comes from its variety. With their richly detailed and widely varying patterns and colours, these kerchiefs were traditionally a way for women to distinguish their personality from others through their choice of garments not only on special occasions but in everyday life as well. The piece features a bespoke print designed by graphic artist and tattooist Aron Dimen. The pattern is screen-printed onto the garment by hand in a local, independent workshop in Budapest using a unique, eco-conscious dye. Due to the nature of the vintage materials, each kerchief is different in its original colour and pattern but is finished with the same print in the acid colour.
