To turn OFF, first unlock tool by quickly double tapping power button. Then, press & hold power button until iron vibrates & lights start to cascade down. Please Note: The power button remains on while plugged in, but tool will not heat up until turned on. How to Style: Start w/ dry, detangled hair. Twist top part of hair out of the way & secure w/ a section clip. Gather bottom half of hair into another clip leaving out a 1-2" section. Gather 2" section & clamp iron halfway between root & ends. Twist iron away from face, toward roots. Turn barrel repeatedly until all hair is wrapped around barrel. Ensure barrel remains in a vertical position. Hold iron for a few seconds or until heat has fully penetrated hair section. Then gradually release curl in a vertical position. Repeat on all sections until hair is fully styled. CAUTION: Use iron & select settings w/ caution. There are individual variations in how hair responds to heat. The optimal selection of settings & time to hold hair in the barrel may vary from person to person. In the first use, it is best to test at a low heat & for a short duration.
