Our Tin Cloth PrimaLoft® Vest shrugs off rain, snow, mud, and flying wood chips. The waxed-canvas shell fabric is tightly woven 100% cotton treated with liquefied wax under high heat and pressure. This provides lasting water resistance. The fabric's tight weave makes it exceptionally abrasion-resistant. It also makes it difficult for any punctures to develop into tears. Oil finish Tin Cloth can be rewaxed as often as needed to maintain water resistance for decades of reliable service. PrimaLoft® is a lightweight synthetic insulation engineered to mimic the heat-trapping ability of goose down, while maintaining the ability to insulate even when wet. The 100g PrimaLoft® Gold used in this vest has been tested to retain 98% of its warmth in soaking conditions. With zippers securing the fleece-lined hand and single chest pockets, your essentials will remain safe.
