Florentine jewelry designer, Marco Panconesi, refined his craft at Givenchy under Riccardo Tisci before joining Balenciaga as director of men's accessories. He launched his namesake jewellery line Panconesi in 2019. His formative upbringing in Florence, a city of ancient history and myth, but also birthplace of radical design movements , inform his design aesthetic. H is pieces resemble ancient artefacts that have been reworked, updated, and modernized. The designs explore undulating shapes, mismatched elements and layering.
