This pattern is available on Ravelry . The Early Frost Hat and Cowl set is inspired by the first frost in autumn, when the ground freezes and all the flora is frozen in place. This design features two yarns held together, one of which is fuzzy to replicate the icy nature of the world after an early frost. Construction Both the hat and cowl are worked in the round with one strand of each yarn held together throughout. It is possible to make the hat and cowl set using 1 skein of Fino and 2 skeins of Cabrito for all hat sizes, but there will be very little Cabrito left if making the largest hat. The cable patterns are both written and charted.
