Delivering the unexpected through a seemingly simple gesture, fferrone elevates the everyday with entirely handcrafted furniture, objects & tableware. Commissioned by The Macallan for the launch of its Rare Cask Scotch, Rare is a technical glass designed to concentrate the aromas within its tapered walls. The raised bottom allows the glass to be held at the base to maintain the whiskey at room temperature and to showcase the presentation of the golden liquid. The brass Presenter, designed by Christopher Gentner, accompanies the Rare glass. It's deconstructed grid and central handle keep the glasses secure while serving, similar to a Turkish Tepsi tea/coffee tray.
