An undisputed emblem of elegance and functionality, the Daphine expresses the essence of Lumina. The design emerged in 1975, at a small workshop in Sedriano (in the Metropolitan City of Milan), through the skillful hands of Tommaso Cimini. It fulfils the designer's aesthetic vision: "Lots of light, not much lamp." The Daphine clearly deserves its status as a "lighting design icon". Through the years, it has appeared in the collections of the world's greatest contemporary art and design museums, including the Brooklyn Museum of New York City, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs of Paris, the Neue Sammlung of Munich, and the Triennale of Milan. - This LED version (3,000K or 2,700K) may be regulated at double light intensity or dimmed.
