A striking diamond ring that has been inspired by the Art Deco period. A central round cut diamond (1.25ct) has been securely claw set in platinum within a square shaped surround. Small diamonds (0.14ct) have been set into the corners of the square sparkling delicately in the light. A bold gallery displays openwork circle and square forms with stylised lily flowers. The design has been completed by part openwork geometric arrangements set with further smaller diamonds forming the top sections of each shoulder. A hugely important period for jewellery design, the strong lines and geometric shapes of Art Deco (1911-1940) still influence jewellery design today. Lustrous and durable platinum ensures that this ring can be worn and enjoyed from day to night.
