Wondrous Peepal leaf earrings lovingly crafted from 18kt gold; made by hand in Jaipur by master goldsmith Sushil. The Peepal tree is a sacred tree to both Hindus and Buddhists in India. Believed to be the tree under which the Buddha achieved enlightenment, Vishnu was born under it and it is believed to be inhabited by spirits as the nature of the pointed leaves the tree appears to rustle constantly. It is also a fertility tree and women wishing a child walk around the tree. We have created a collection in auspicious gold around this precious tree to evoke its good favour.
