Playing with what I like to call a perfect palindrome 'WOW' was first created as one of my signature glass, steel and gold pieces in 2018. Then in 2020 it was brought back to life as my first ever limited edition screen print release. The first and second editions both sold out in under 48 hours. As with all my repeat editions of the same design I change the colour scheme for each new version. This third one is built around a brilliantly rich cyan blue, and is hand finished with 23.5 carat gold leaf. My screen printer and I work very closely together, mixing each colour for each layer by eye rather than from a digital colour scheme to make sure they're as punchy as possible. We also mix these colours from their base pigments, which means we can add in much more colour pigment than you would find in the off the shelf inks. Its difficult to convey in photos but easy to see in real life that these prints have a real wow (excuse the pun!) factor when you see them framed up on the wall.
