Designer's Voice We thought it would be interesting to make the Kimono Gown, which has been well received, from trench coat fabric, both as a trench coat and as a kimono coat. I thought it would be interesting to make it both as a trench coat and a kimono coat.I had only heavy coats that I could wear over my kimono, so I wanted a light coat, so I designed it.Even when matched with everyday wear, it becomes a Japanese mode coat, making it an interesting coat that can be worn in a variety of ways.
