The Misty ballet flats are part of Our Ocean Yarn Collection, crafted using recycled plastic bottles recovered from the ocean through the Ecoalf Foundation's Upcycling the Oceans project. While traditional footwear often blends numerous materials, our ballerina flats feature only 3 mono-material components: the upper, insole and outsole and each part is recyclable. Moreover, these components are attached through a cutting-edge process in which the upper is sewn directly to the sole, eliminating adhesives (no glue) and allowing for effortless disassembly and recycling at the end of its lifecycle. They combine an elegant and versatile design, perfect for both casual and more formal looks alike.
