The GEL-KAYANO 20 is the latest collaboration model between Australian-based creative studio HAL STUDIOS® and ASICS SportStyle. ⁡ The collaboration with ASICS began in 2022, with the first release being the GEL-1130™ MK I "Earth", the second release being the GEL-1130™ MK II "Forest", and the third release being the GEL-1130™ MK III "Glacier". Although the project as a trilogy of collaborations has been concluded for the time being, the partnership between the two parties continues, and this new collaboration model will be released. ⁡ The base of this shoe is the GEL-KAYANO 20, which was released in 2013 as part of the GEL-KAYANO series, a running shoe characterized by its stability and cushioning. Inspired by the innovative design language derived from the "Space Era" that was popular from the 1950s to 1960s, the traditional silhouette has been elevated to a modern lifestyle shoe that resembles a design object. The shoe incorporates a belt-type closing system, and the contrast of materials such as coarse mesh and leather expresses the innovativeness of the time. ⁡ The color of the "BONE" is a monotone black and white that allows you to express your individuality while still being calm in tone. It is a pair of shoes that can be coordinated with a wide range of styles.
