Ochiba evokes the spirit of an ancient forest with coniferous trees and a tapestry of fallen leaves. Inspired by 8th century stemcups, this elegantly drawn vessel is characterized by a footed base, raised band, and flared rim. Poured and fired from fine white porcelain, the vessel is coated internally in a transparent glaze with a matte exterior — after burning, it can be repurposed as a vase for stems or a decorative object.
