Ritual for Autumn is an oversized, top down, drop shoulder sweater in Feliz , a lovely wool-modal blend. It features a cowl neck and contrast-color ties along the sides. Additionally, this design has a bonus pattern for headbands that you can pair with your sweater. Construction This drop-shoulder seater is worked from the top down, both in rows and in the round. It begins by working the upper back in rows down to the underarms. Stitches for the front shoulders are picked up from the back shoulders and worked separately in rows until they are joined across the front neck, then the upper front is worked in rows down to the underarms. The front and back are joined for working the lower body in the round for several inches, then divided again to work the front and back separately for side slits. The sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole openings and worked in the round down to the cuffs. The side slits are closed with contrasting-color ties.
